During a career spanning 40 years, Jon captures a depth of human emotion and detail in his photography that most onlookers might fail to see. He has an innate ability to see beauty in even the harshest of locations, creating photographs that communicate respect, empathy and a deep connection to the subject.

Documenting his friend Damon Hill, he contributed photographs for three best-selling books about Damon’s racing career. Jon went on to contribute to another 6 books on motorsport, including ‘Racing Stewart’, which saw the return of motorsport legend Sir Jackie Stewart to the Formula 1 paddock. Jon spent three years between 2003 and 2005 embedded with Ferrari to follow Michael Schumacher and in 2008 was commissioned by Ron Dennis of McLaren to record Lewis Hamilton through his championship winning year.
